Grandview Mall Snow World, located on the sixth floor of the Grandview Mall in Tianhe District, Guangzhou, is the first large-scale indoor snow theme park in southern China that operates at room temperature year-round. Covering an area of over 3,000 square meters, the park is designed around the concept of a “snow kingdom in a tropical city,” offering visitors an authentic snow experience regardless of the season or outdoor climate.
As the key snow system provider, Focusun Refrigeration supplied the entire high-temperature snowmaking solution, including snow production machines, snow recycling and drying systems, air circulation and humidity control systems, and a fully automated PLC control platform. Focusun’s proprietary high-temperature snowmakers can produce fine, cotton-like snow even in ambient temperatures above 20°C. The snow is clean, white, and soft—ideal for snow play areas, slides, snow sculptures, and interactive zones. To optimize operational efficiency and sustainability, the system also includes snow recovery and drying technology, allowing unused snow to be recollected, dehydrated, and reused, reducing energy consumption and extending the snow’s longevity.
The entire operation is managed through a Siemens PLC-based automation system, offering remote monitoring and intelligent parameter control. This ensures the snow world runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently without the need to chill the indoor space, allowing visitors to enjoy snow in a comfortable environment. Thanks to Focusun’s cutting-edge technology and tailored engineering solutions, Grandview Mall Snow World has broken through geographic and climatic limitations, seamlessly integrating a full-scale snow experience into a commercial complex. It has since become a benchmark project in China for room-temperature snow parks, and a popular destination for family entertainment, urban leisure, and immersive winter-themed tourism in the heart of Guangzhou.
