Focusun Water Cooled Chiller uses cooling water supplied by a cooling tower to absorb and remove heat. It is best suited for large-capacity applications and continuous operation. Known for high energy efficiency and stable performance, it is widely used in factories, central air conditioning systems, and large-scale ice & snow parks.
These chiller units deliver outstanding performance and extended service life. During operation, they follow a consistent cycle based on the core principles of heat exchange. They are particularly well-suited for industries requiring accurate and stable control of chilled water temperatures, with precise regulation capabilities ranging from 3°C to 50°C. This makes them an essential component in modern industrial cooling systems.
Working Principle
When the air-cooled chiller is activated, the refrigerant absorbs heat from the target medium inside the evaporator and begins to evaporate. The compressor then continuously draws in the resulting vapor and compresses it into high-temperature, high-pressure gas.
This gas flows into the air-cooled condenser, where it releases heat to the surrounding air and condenses back into a liquid. The liquid refrigerant is then passed through an expansion valve, reducing its pressure and temperature before re-entering the evaporator. There, it absorbs heat once again, repeating the cycle until the process water reaches the desired temperature.
